Harrison Fine
Bio

Harrison Fine first took up singing and playing the guitar in the small town of Peterborough, Ontario. He would often practice up to 6 hours a day, trying to better himself as much as he possibly could. Soon after, he began playing in local bands and performing live with them, incorporating plenty of original material into their acts and also releasing a CD. They played outside of Peterborough, at local venues and in Battles of the Bands, at times playing to crowds of over 150 people. They were even popular enough that they were sometimes recognized on the street. However, eventually the members of Harrison's final band decided to go their separate ways, which lead him to Mississauga to study at Metalworks Institute, where he learned a great deal about the music industry, hands-on from experienced professionals.

With his new insight, he moved back to Peterborough where he joined the band "Big City Thieves." They were often described as amazing, outstanding or "the thing this town is lacking." They played gigs around town and were getting ready to head into the studio when the tension between the band members stopped this from proceeding. It was this break-up that caused Harrison to try his hands at a solo career.

In October 2008, Harrison Fine made his way to Toronto, Ontario, following a dream of his to launch his music career in the big city. After only a few months, he has made his impact on the music scene, playing shows at popular venues like C'est What, Free Times, Holy Joe's, Metalworks Institute, The Waterfront Bistro in Pickering, The Rock and Roll Heaven and the Supermarket.

Harrison has also received much praise from industry and fans alike. The president of BandWithAMission has been quoted that he really likes his music, following up with an offer to further collaborate with him. Also, a fan, Constantine Karzis, recently stated "Your Stuff was Brilliant; loved your voice and song."

At this moment in time, Harrison is currently working to book shows with Paragon Productions and Book a Band. He has received offers for radio spots in British Columbia and is planning a mini tour of the west coast to promote himself and his new songs.

If it wasn't for the small town he grew up in, Harrison Fine wouldn't be the artist and musician he is today. Having spent so much time practicing and bettering himself, his strong vocal abilities and a matching talent for the guitar combined with his creative ability to write intelligent lyrics and catchy riffs makes Harrison Fine a talented and respected musician in the Toronto music scene. Still, Harrison quotes himself as being just a friendly, down to earth individual. You will often overhear him saying at shows, "I do it because I love music. It's the reason I started writing, and it's the reason I still am today."
